If your phone is slow and want to speed up your device then these tips to speed up your device.
Know Your Device:-
This is main step because if you properly know your device then you know the capabilities and drawbacks of your device. Do not overburden your device with resource hungry apps which can even degrade your device performance.
Update Your Android Version:-
Updating your android device is most impartant beacuse Google brings stabiliity , seciurity patches , increses performance speed and connectivity . Now most of the devices are coming with android oreo which is the latest and fast as compared to other android like nougat , marshmello or older versions .So if you havent updated your android and update is available then update your android device.
Remove Unwanted Apps:-
Some times we install apps which are not necessary use more a very short period of time and then we don't use them. These apps consume our storage and also runs in background which reduces our device performance because if more storage is occupied or more background process occurs the more slower your device gets.So from next time don't install those apps which you hardly use.
Disable Apps:-
There are some apps which you can't remove bot can be disabled . Disabling apps is not same as removing them because in removing the file and the data of app is removed from device but in disabling them no file or data is removed just the apps hides from the app tray and no background process occurs. So disable those inbuilt apps which you don't use.
Update Apps:-
Updating Apps is just as updating android versions. Because in new updates developers improves the performance and stability of apps increases and they are less likely to crash. So daily update your apps whenever they are available in google play store.
Use High Speed Memory-Cards:-
Now a days the phones comes with so much internal storage but if you have shortage in storage and it supports micro-SD card then all ways choose High Speed Memory Card of class 6 or 10 because these cards are much faster than a class 4 .
Keep Fewer Widgets:-
Widgets are not applications , which only runs when you choose to activate them . No widgets runs in background because they are active all the time. Some users uses these to track weather, their important dates and some extended controls to access their settings like Bluetooth , WiFi and some other settings .They have their uses but keep in mind having so much widgets may leads to slowdown the performance of your device.
Avoid Live Wallpapers:-
Live Wallpapers looks awesome but they badly affects your device performance because they need more CPU cycles to run and also drains battery very fast . When you launch anything not only that apps live wallpaper also runs which slows your device. So instead of live Wallpaper use any simple wallpaper.
Stop Syncing:-
Sync is a very good feature to synchronize your data from Google Server. Keeping sync on, you can get notifications whenever new mail comes in or when you get new notifications or updates for apps. To do this, it does a refresh at every preset interval (e.g. it checks your mail every 5 minutes for new incoming mail), and this will eat into your android’s performance for other activities.
You can keep Sync off for unrequired services or only have it on when you need to transfer or upload materials to Google servers.
Turn Off Animations:-
What animations? Well, if you haven’t noticed, your phone screen actually fades out and in as you switch from one task to the other. To see this in action Go to Settings > Developer Options > Window Animation Scale > Animation scale 10x. Then choose Window Animation Scale again to see the fade in effect in ‘slow-mo’.
When you choose Animation off, the screen just snaps to position without animation. You can also turn off Transition Animation Scale in the same way. If you are a heavy user, you’d probably notice that your Android performs faster with all animations off.
Bonus Tip Root you Android Device-
Rooting your device gives you administrative access through which you can uninstall built-in apps which you don't want to use. After rooting your device you can Flash a custom rom which suits you requirement. Custom roms improves performance and battery life of your device. You can also update android version which is not available fro you device.
Tings To Keep in Mind while rooting-
a)rooting your device voids your warrenty.
b)You also know what not to do while rooting to avoid bricking of your device ( Bricking :- turning your phone into a useless brick. )
