Cyber security is the most common problem in this digital life. Everyday many people are targeted by the hackers and stole the personal data of the people. Many companies held the cyber security awareness camp to create awareness regarding the cyber security. Some people don't take cyber security seriously. These attacks include ransomware, malware, botnets and other advanced threats which leads to cyber attacks. 

Never think that you can't be a target for the cyber criminals because they can attack anyone. For hackers everyone is a target. So never say " It won't happen to me."

  • Be carefull while doing sensitive browsing like shopping or banking on a device. Use a network on which you trust. Whether it is your friend network, public wifi or cafe your data can be stolen from unsecured or free wifi.



  • Backup your data regularly to any external drive or to the cloud services, which protects your data.



  • Update your antivirus defination regularly which helps your antivirus to detect the latest virus.



  • Be aware what you are plugging to your device whether it is flash drive , external hard-disk because malware can spread from a external storage and can infect your device.



  • Be careful while your information to any of your friend on social media. Because hackers befriend you on the social networking and know your data which you share to them as a friend.



  • You can also be targeted offline. Attackers asks your personal credential by calling or texting you it is best to say "no" to be safe. They can manipulate you to take your personal credentials.



  • Always monitor your account for any suspicious activity, If you see any suspicious activity on your account then report it.



  • Always use double security like OTP in  your account to increase your account safety.
