As you already know that Samsung is going to release it's Galaxy S9 this year but there are also rumor's that they are also going to launch it's Galaxy X at the end of this year. According to report's they have shown their Galaxy X in CES. They have patent this in late 2016 and get's approval for this amazing idea.
Release Date :-
As Samsung has already that confirmed that they will release it's Galaxy X in 2018. More likely it to be released in end of the year potentially in the starting of December of end of November. But there is a big problem that the phone must be a limited phone and company release it mostly for it's home country South Korea. So it will be the one of the rarest phone in the world.
Specification's of Galaxy X :-
This phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon processor 845 or their own chip Exynos 9810. It will must the 6 GB ram , non-removable battery and with a microSD card slot. 4K dispaly will be provided with the dual camera at back. They have somehow managed to keep the high resolution of screen even when it is folded. It must a 5 inch phone which can be stretched out to be a 8 inch tablet but now it is rumored that it will become a 7 inch tablet.

Galaxy X is fold-able phone which can be folded like a wallet or can be stretched out to a bigger screen. As all companies like Lenovo , LG , HTC are already working on fold-able phones. They have also filed some patent regarding the fold-able technology and going to release the fold-able technology.

This technology make convenient for people to keep the bigger phones small when they need the small phone and stretch it to make it large when they need a bigger phone. But you have to still wait to the proper implementation of this technology in mobile and electronic's.
